Dr. Jeanette Lara

Director of Spanish Curriculum Development / Medical director Chaparral

Dr. Lara is a rural family medicine physician in Chaparral, NM. She is a Presbyterian Medical director, adjunct faculty for burrell COM and for the Southern NM Family Medicine Residency Program.

She provides healthcare for the refugee clinic and is a member of the environmental health committee in her community. She helps with the spanish curriculums for our different projects. She helped begin the Peruvian CHW program where she translated and created podcasts for the tablets given. She has now taken her experience and developed the new Promoter training programs in Chaparral, NM . She will continue working with Peru and the Chaparral community which is her hometown.
